Abstract

The article provides a description of set phrases — poetic formulas with anthroponyms (mythonyms, theonyms, biblical and historical names) in Russian poetry of the 18th century. The main distinguishing features of poetic formulas are reproducibility, clarity of internal form and expressiveness For the lexicographer the most interesting are those poetic formulas in which proper names have already undergone a semantic change, i. e. in antonomasia, personification, etc., as well as poetic formulas, the elements of which are in a rhyming position. The description of poetic formulas with proper names in the historical dictionary of the poetic language makes it possible to establish the repertoire of proper names in the poetry of the 18th century, to show their internal connections, to record the joint occurrence, basic models and semantic activity in the Russian anthroponomicon of the 18th century.
