Sharichina M. Set combination umnye ochi and its synonyms in the 18th century Russian language (case study of the texts of M.V. Lomonosov) SHLL, Vol. 4. 2021 , 98–104
Abstract

The article identifies synonyms for the combination umnyye ochi (myslennyye ochi / vzor, umnoye zreniye and others) and examines the specificity of their semantics. Special attention is paid to the genre characteristics of the contexts in which these lexemes are used. Thus, in odic poetry and oratorical prose, the visual semantics of the combination is actualized, which is usually not so expressive in the scientific prose of M.V. Lomonosov. The article establishes the continuity of the nature of the use of the combinations considered in the article in relation to the ancient philosophical tradition.
