The word in the historical dictionary: to the question of regional specifics of the lexical meaning

The article is devoted to the issue of determination of word semantics in the historical regional dictionary. Lexicographic interpretation of the separate words recorded in "The dictionary of Russian language of the 18^th century: Eastern Siberia. Transbaikal" is the focus of the research. The need with insufficient contextual material to consider the paradigmatic and syntagmatic relations of a word reflected in other historical regional and academy dictionaries is highlighted in the paper. It is what allows to specify the degree of territorial peculiarity of a word meaning.
