The language of Nekrasov in focus of historical dictionary

Nekrasov’s anniversary celebrations, which took place in 2021, contributed to the further study of his creative heritage. The article presents how poet’s originality and linguistic innovation is manifested when looking at it via principles of the “Dictionary of the 19^th Century Russian”, describing dynamic processes and presenting the richness of the Russian literary language through the development of its vocabulary. Using specific examples from Nekrasov’s works, the author analyzes multilevel linguistic phenomena that have become the focus of historical changes. The article presents experimental dictionary entries in which quotations from the poet’s works are used as illustrations.
