Abstract
The lexicon “An Explanation of Problematic Words in Literature” in appendix to the Ladder of Divine Ascent contains about 1,000 word entries and belongs to the preliminary type of lexicons. It combines traits of the early glossaries and also lexicographical innovations, that will be developed in lexicographical works of the future peri- od. The publication represents full text of the lexicon as well as facsimilia.
